Greetings to everyone at the second edition of the monthly information.
Last month was quite interesting, at least from my side. The transition from DistroKid to iMusician, issues with my music, postponement of a project, and so on. With all that and some other things, I would like to inform you about a few matters.
Transitioning from DistroKid to iMusician means a big step for me, but it also brought some problems. The reason I switched is very simple. The reason is the hidden fees at DistroKid, which would have made my life quite unpleasant in two to three years. iMusician simply has better conditions. Unfortunately, I was forced to take down all my music from streaming platforms and re-upload it with iMusician. As a result, my music disappeared from all systems, such as content ID on the YouTube, but also from social networks, streaming platforms, and so on. Of course, only temporarily; soon my music will be available again, and that completely everywhere.
Unfortunately, I had to do one more thing. I had to put the Launchpad project for my track Cybernetics on hold. The project was originally prepared with full compatibility with the Launchpad Pro Mk3. However, all Launchpad users are certainly familiar with the issue of this type of Launchpad. Simply put, the Launchpad Pro Mk3 is not optimized for light effects as we would like. So, I got a new Launchpad, the Launchpad X, which is the most optimized Launchpad in the world, especially in the third generation of Launchpads in general. One could say that the Launchpad project for the Cybernetics track is postponed (it might even be canceled) also because reworking the project for full compatibility with the Launchpad X is time-consuming and technically challenging. But don’t worry, I am preparing a new track that will also include the Launchpad project with full compatibility with Launchpad X, Launchpad Mini Mk3, and even some older generation Launchpads (the project will of course also work for Launchpad Pro Mk3 and Launchpad Pro, but the light effects will be incomplete).
And that’s not all yet. There have also been some minor changes to the visual aspects of the website, better optimization of the website for mobile devices, the information about me has been updated, and other small adjustments have been made to the website.
On May 16th, I even had my 18th birthday, which is of course a very important milestone in my life, as well as in my work.
I hope you like my work.
